Steve Sleight taught himself to sail at the age of ten and after qualifying as a Royal Yachting Association Coach he taught dinghy sailing, cruising and competitive racing, as well as becoming British National Champion. As an experienced author and broadcaster, Steve has written extensively about sailing. He lives in Cowes on the Isle of Wight, where he races and cruises his own boat
