"The Gardener's Five Year Record Book" provides a central store for all the horticultural notes you will ever need to make, dispensing with those scraps of paper that all gardeners seem to accumulate. The record book's beautiful design allows you to see your garden's progress clearly: each month is separated into weeks so you can record when plants bloom, tasks you have completed, the weather conditions or any other comments. Its illustrations are taken from the "Phytanthoza Iconographia" (1737-45), the first botanical work printed in colour on Continental Europe. The "Phyanthoza" was compiled by Johann Wilhelm Weinmann from his botanical drawings, some of which are by Georg Dionysius Ehret (1708-70), one of the greatest botanical artists of all time.
