Description

This is a comprehensive beer guide that taps into the growing obsession with boutique beers and breweries, while also including the ever-increasing array of mass-market beers. An entertaining guide to different species of amber liquid, Beer features a detailed explanation of how beer is made and a short history of brewing, followed by a survey of as many beers as the author could lay his hands on. Drawing on a petrol theme, these are categorised from 'Light (Unleaded)' - reduced alcohol beers, through to 'Biofuel' - boutique brews.
